Then of
course there is the little minor detail that the supposed increase of
less than 1 degree in the worlds temp. could not possibly be causing
the claimed mass loss and the other little detail that the Globe just
stopped warming 10 years ago - but let's not spoil their big disaster
theory - it makes such good copy!

This article... http://www.csmonitor.com/2008/0110/p14s01-sten.html. is a prime
example of how you can never win
with these people - like I say in "Greenhouse Bullcrap" it's like
trying to convince an "intelligent design" person that biology proves Darwin was right
(if you change the conditions in a petri dish the bacteria most suited
to the change multiply and prevail. You can see it.) - they
just
shrug it off and keep going on. The article says well yes the Antarctic
has set near records in sea ice extent and is cooling not warming, but
it is different to the Arctic and does show some signs of Global
Warming - AAARGH!
If
Global Warming is melting the Arctic then it must
be melting the Antarctic and it just isn't - it astounds me how they
keep picking out examples of Global Warming and just get away with
ignoring the Elephant in the room - the Globe stopped warming 10 years
ago - only satellites can measure the whole Earth and it has only
warmed a trivial 0.8 degrees and that was due to the 1998 spike which
the Earth quickly corrected all by itself.

considering climate Tax on imports"
They are going to put import barriers on countries that do not meet or
have to meet a Kyoto target. They love trade barriers in Europe don't
they? Just as well it's only external trade - almost none of them are
going anywhere near meeting their own Kyoto targets - The Gall of

I see our embarrassment of the year, Mr superslick, smooth talking,
Flummery, has been oiling his way around the supergreen, diesel dike,
corridors of the ABC, pushing
his wind project.
Seems they've now cornered 2 Billion dollars of our Super Money from
Macquarie Bank - who should have more sense. There are really big
snouts in that money trough now!
Now why would the NSW
Government put highly expensive wind power out in the middle of nowhere
when a very large part of the energy it does produce (it is a real
surprise that the desert has so much wind - quite astounding really -
but I believe them - millions wouldn't, but I believe that Broken Hill
is very windy) will go to heating up the 1200km of high tension wire
slung between the pylons - like some gigantic radiator bar?
Of course the wind farm project would link up very neatly with Mr
Flummery's geothermal project out there too - Auntie should be getting
a commission - or free shares at least!.

(Since satellites now show
that G. Warming stopped 10 years ago perhaps the giant
radiator bar will help stop G. Cooling!)

Brrrr Where Did
Global Warming Go? http://www.boston.com/bostonglobe/editorial_opinion/oped/articles/2008/01/06/br_r_r_where_did_global_warming_go/
"In South America, for example, the start of
winter last year was one of the coldest ever observed. According to Eugenio
Hackbart, chief meteorologist of the MetSul Weather Center in
Brazil, "a brutal cold wave brought record low temperatures, widespread
frost, snow, and major energy disruption." In Buenos Aires, it
snowed for the first time in 89 years, while in Peru the cold
was so intense that hundreds of people died and the government declared
a state
of emergency in 14 of the country's 24 provinces. In August,
Chile's agriculture minister lamented "the
toughest winter we have seen in the past 50 years," which
caused losses of at least $200 million in destroyed crops and
livestock."
If the alarmists can cite obsure examples of
global warming why can't cynics cite
obsure examples of global cooling?!

Lies damn lies and statistics. The Hadley Center gets almost
all
its funding from Global Warming payola. Last year it stupidly predicted
2007 would be 60% likely the warmest year ever. 2007 got nowhere near
that, so they have hedged their bets this year by predicting 2008 will
be within the ten
warmest years
- good headline material - BUT - very good odds because the global
records only go back to the late 1970s and as the following link proves
there is statistically only a 1 in 40 chance that 2008 will be outside
the ten warmest years - a very good bet indeed... http://www.worldclimatereport.com/index.php/2008/01/04/the-hadley-center-tries-again/

temps.
seem to be dropping quite rapidly as the solar wind drops and makes
cloud cover increase).

The deadly toll of wind
turbines -
"No one knows for sure how many birds are killed by the Altamont
turbines - a 2004 California Energy Commission report estimated the
golden eagle toll to be between 75 and 116 a year, while total bird
kills were put in the 1,766 to 4,721 range. The Audubon Society lawsuit
targets four raptor species - golden eagle, red-tailed hawk, American
kestrel and burrowing owl - which suffered 456 to 1,129 fatalities per
year, the study estimated." http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2008/01/02/MNITTM9FA.DTL

against G.W. coming out now but the NY Times is a big one.

Antarctica has had near record sea ice extent this year, hurricanes
have calmed, not increased, droughts are not predicted by G.W.

Carbon Trading
will exacerbate the petrol price rises we’ve already seen.
Our
power bills will also go through the roof and we will not be able to
fly
anymore. Our great egalitarian society will be polarized into rich and
poor – the rich
will have all our nice new freeways all to themselves.
Carbon Trading just provides excuses to go on producing Carbon Dioxide.
These links document the corruption
already evident in carbon trading schemes.

Water Vapour is a Greenhouse Gas - it is typically, on average, about
10,000 ppm(vol) in air. Its molecule has a greenhouse effect many times
that of carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide at 370ppm(vol) is in effect so
trivial that it has virtually no effect on the Earth's temperature at
all. It can only affect the Earth's temperature by tweaking inputs and
assumptions fed into computer models.
Global
Warming has never been seriously challenged, but it pretends to be
science and
these
scientific documents refute Global Warming as a
Scientific Hypothesis.
