Earth Mother:
This is a commissioned piece. I was asked to design a piece showing Earth Mother pregnant with the world - following the idea of Earth Mother from a Native American belief. This image has been located in our area of North Queensland, with the granite rocks of Magnetic Island, and the green forests covering the Great Dividing range. The Southern Cross also locates it firmly in the Southern Hemisphere - taking the idea that the Earth Mother is caring for all of our planet home.
