MERRY CHRISTMAS AND BIG LICKS TO ALL MY READERS
Mum and Dad keep telling me that it is nearly Christmas. What is Christmas? There is a tree in the lounge room that I am not allowed to touch, and there are all these packages wrapped in bright shiny paper that I am not allowed to chew (even though some of them smell really yummy).
They keep telling me stories about a Santa Claus who is supposed to come down the chimney on Christmas Eve and leave presents for us (I think we're in trouble as we don't have a chimney - but Mum says he is magical and will find a way in), then we can open all our presents (can't wait for that).
Santa Clause rides across the sky on a sleigh pulled by reindeer. He dresses in a bright red suit and big boots as it is cold and snowy where he comes from. He's in trouble here as it is 40º and P.S. what's snow?
