The Other Dog
I was worried the other day as I though my Mum and Dad did not love me any more because they had got another dog. I saw it in the ensuite and barked at it. It was very strange - it was barking back but I could not hear it. I thought I had gone deaf. It then appeared at the end of the hall. I tried to lick him but it was cold and he didn't smell right. Mum told me I was looking in mirrors. I don't really understand, but at least the other dog doesn't pinch my food.
Now each morning I look in the mirror and wonder whether he's going to come and play with me. I still bark at him and Mum calls me an idiot. But still, he's a good looking dog.
