A while ago I had a sore paw and no-one could work out what I'd done. Dad took me back to the vet as it wasn't getting any better. The vet said
When the vet x-rayed me she found I had a piece of wire stuck in my foot (no wonder it hurt so much). She operated on my foot and put in 3 stitches.

After being at the vets for a full day without food I was starving when I got home. |
The only trouble was, they doped me up that much that I couldn't walk properly. My front legs were willing, but my back ones just wouldn't work. |

As my foot was still bleeding, they put a sock on it to stop me dripping on the carpet. |
I had a good long sleep that night and in the morning I was able to walk a lot better. |

As Kimba also had an operation, they doped her up as well. She wasn't interested in eating (which is unusual for her). She wasn't interested in doing anything at all. Dad put her on the beanbag and that's where she stayed until the morning when the drugs had worn off, and then she got up and ate everything in sight. |
PS: We both went back to the Vets 10 days later to have our stitches removed. I was still a bit cautious walking on my foot, but the swelling has gone down now and I can run like I did before I hurt my foot.
