My Sore
Paw
|

|
|

|
I
suppose it's inevitable, but every dog at some time hurts themselves. |
|
No
one knows what I did that caused my paw to become so sore. Dad found a
grass spear in it which he moved and we thought it would be alright. |
|

|
|

|
| My paw has been
a bit swollen ever since, so Mum and Dad took me to the Vet. He said I had
probably bruised it or something and that the swelling would go down as it
did not seem to worry me too much. |
|
BUT - yesterday
when I was playing ball with Dad the ball bounced off the wall and hit me
in the paw. Boy did it hurt - and did I squark? It started to bleed all
over the place so Dad carried me into the lounge where he placed my head
on the bean bag and put my paw on a bag of ice. That felt much better. He
used towels so that the blood did not mark the carpet. |

|
| When I hurt my
foot Mum reckoned it sounded just like the baby crying, so she decided to
try and give me a dummy to keep me quiet. |
|
Just look at the
size of it - of course it's a yummy dog treat (It's great what different
things I get to eat). And it took my mind off my sore paw. |

|
As
I'm such a caring, sharing dog, the next time my doggy Dad came to visit I
asked my human Dad if he could have a dummy too. You can see from the
looks on our faces that we both love them.
PS:
My paw is still sore, but it's pretty good now although I am still limping
and favouring it (I get more attention and goodies this way). The only
thing is that I am starting to get a complex about being called "Limpy
Bum".
