Our breeding program over the last few months has suffered the lost of FOUR very important mares.
* Arabian Part Elegance is now fully retired with old age catching up on her. Our dear old girl has given us our precious yearling filly Krystal Creek Ellusion who will follow in her dams hoofprints. Elegance now graces the beautiful big paddocks of Colourite Arabians own by my brother and his wife. We hope to have our girl around for a few years yet.
* Krystal Creek Breathless suffered a traumatic birth of her last foal krystal Creek Devotion. Bree bled very badly internally after a redbag delivery and we are just very lucky to be able to save them both. It has been decided after vets advice that Bree will not be bred again as there is a high chance she could bleed again, I chance we are not willing to take!! She will now become one of our riding horses instead.
* Southfork Bonnie has become very difficult to get back in foal after two season of trying. We have had vets to her and nothing is working, therefore sadly Bonnie will be sold to the best of homes as a riding horse.
* Fames Fire Dance is very sadly missed after her death from a penicillin injection in which she had a reaction to. Fame would of been of breeding age in 2009 and we were so exciting about joining her with Santiago.
A huge blow for us but we will bounce back!!
So after loosing these precious mares to our program 2010 will see some dramatic changes to our stock. We will be searching for two new mares to join our herd come Sept breeding season. We will be searching for a bay purebred mare and a ''coloured'' partbred mare.

A Huge congratulations to Kaye Mitchell of Tasmania on placing 1ST in the light weight division 80km endurance ride at ST Helens endurance ride on Krystal Creek Karisma. Yet another great effort from Kaye and Karisma.

Kindly leased to us by Allyndah Arabians this beautiful mare will soon be bred to Santiago KEI.
Shanarrah carries the bloodlines of champions such as Simeon Sochain [expUS] Simeon Sadik [Exp GB] Simeon Sanegor, Simeon Solomon and Joda Shahboogie.
We look forward to seeing the result from the joining of Shanarrah and Santiago. With such fantastic bloodlines the resulting foal should be something special!!

NORTH COAST NATIONAL
We proudly took to Lismore's North Coast National show our two show horses, our purebred stallion Santiago KEI and yearling purebred filly Allyndah Sophia.
This show had a A grade Arabian ring and Santiago received Reserve champion stallion.
Allyndah Sophia made her show debut and won her class then went on to receive '''RESERVE CHAMPION FEMALE''
Santiago turned many heads and we received lovely comments about him making all the hard work worth it!! This is a stallion who really catches your eye when seen in the flesh.
Sophia could not have been better behaved and worked beautifully. I can see this little lady going far in the show ring.
CONGRATULATIONS to Brett and Veronica Austin of Colourite Arabians. This was their first show and they took their lovely purebred mare Krystal Creek Samara. Samara won her class, congratulations Veronica you did a wonderful job and Sami looked amazing.

FAMES FIRE DANCE,,, RIP
Life can be so cruel
It is with a very heavy heart that I report that our beautiful much loved filly ''Fame'' died on this date 15/10 after a reaction to a penicillin injection.
This has been such a huge shock to loose her in this way. Fame was the sweetest of fillies and was such a doll to have around. Nothing fazed Fame and she was such a beautiful girl. Fame has left a huge whole in our breeding program, we were so looking forward to her future foals with Santiago. I was sure they were going to be spectacular. Above all we have lost our girl, a sweet soul, a wonderful friend.
RIP our gorgeous girl, thankyou for coming into our lives.
Always missed, NEVER WILL BE FORGOTTEN!! may you fly free with Lilly.

''DASH'' does the 40km NEW ITALY ENDURANCE RIDE in our fastest time.
Dash and Colin above share some quiet time.
Dash our trusty 13yr old gelding and I completed our 4th endurance ride together on the weekend at New Italy NSW.
We did a 40km ride in 2hours/40min's [20min's before minimum time of 3hours is allowed] and Dash looked a picture of health afterwards. To say we are proud of this gelding is a huge understatement, he is truly worth his wait in gold. The perfect example of the perfect Arabian who one day gives children riding lessons and the next day holds his own in endurance. Together we had an absolute ball, the track was fantastic, the weather beautiful and the horse to us THE BEST!

Colourite Arabians have purchased Storm to be bred to their Arabian mares in the future, he is sure to be a asset to the stud and we look forward to watching Storm mature and then breeding some of our purebred Arabian mares to him in the future.
Colourite Arabians have also purchased from KCA the lovely pinto/Arabian mare ''Rebels Girl'' [aka Sharni] Sharni is now leased by KCA for the 09 breeding season and has now been bred to Santiago KEI. Thankyou to Brett and Veronica for letting us lease their new mare.

RIP LILLY.
A very very sad day for us, our precious Lilly was peacefully laid to rest.
Thankyou to so many people for there lovely emails sent from all over Australia. This special filly sure did make a impact. She will never be forgotten and we will forever miss her.

A huge congratulations to Kaye Mitchell of Tasmania for completing a 160km endurance ride on her gutsy mare Krystal Creek Karisma.
What makes this mare even more special is that she is doing her rides BAREFOOT!!
What a wonderful achievement for Kaye, its hard work to get a horse to this level!!
We are very proud of Chrissy and would like to thank Kaye so much for giving Karisma a wonderful home where she is meeting her full potential.
