A typical Border Collie, Royce enjoyed bouncing around the ring, earning himself the nickname "spring on a String", always on the go, he managed to catch the judge's eye on numerous occasions, winning the following awards.
  • Overall Top Baby of the Year for Townsville and Charters Towers Kennel Clubs in 1997
  • Group FiveTop Puppy of The Year 1997 for Thuringawa and Charters Towers Kennel Clubs
  • Pedigree Pal Puppy of The Year Finalist 1998
  • Best of Breed Border Collie of the Year 2000 for Townsville
  • Kennel Assoc. winning the (Being Polio Memorial Trophy)
  • Multiple Class in Group and in Show Awards
  • Multiple Best Exhibit in Group Awards

  • Top Show Dog of The Year for Ingham Kennel & Obedience Club Inc. for 2000
Royce is retired from the show ring now, leaving the family tradition of winning to to be carried on by his son "Cailean" Aust Ch Tastown Hard Act To Follow. Out of the three litters Royce has sired, he has Champion progeny in Queensland under the Tastown prefix and under the Mureybet prefix in Victoria and Finland
