| Aust Ch Juleree Black Magic "Magic" "Magic was born in Townsville on the 10th May 1990 by the Reed family under the prefix of Juleree. He was pick dog in the litter and is co-owned by my partner in crime Syd. This lovely young dogs show careere certainly took of with a bang, blitzing all and sundry while he was being shown, he had even won over his sire at the tender age of just six months only to go on and be awarded Best of Bred and Runner up in Group. He gained his Championship Title at sixteen months and taking it in turns winning with his sire he has to his credit MultipleBest Exhibit in Group and Class in Show Awards. Other GREAT wins include Best Gaited Border Collie and Overall winner as the Cattle Kelpie Border Collie Club of Qld. Magic was retired from the show ring in 1995 sitting on 570 Challenge points. His retirement was due to the fact that my husband had a motorbike accident and he was put off his feet for twelve months and seeing Magic was his number one dog he was left at home to keep hubby company. Magic returned to the ring for one of our local shows in 1997 under a judge who had bred borders, imagine my surprice when he was awarded Best of Breed and then went on to take out BEST EXHIBIT IN THE WORKING DOG GROUP & BEST VETERAN IN SHOW. As a sire he has prodused Champion and Obedience titled progeny to a variety of different blodlines and these dogs and bitches have all excelled in their chosen fields. you can see Magic's breeding on his pedigree which is listed below. |
