Although often classified as sci-fi, Kyle XY is a fairly straightforward family drama. The Trager family takes in boy found in the middle of a forest and, despite more than a few concerns from family members, decides he can stay. Kyle is a virtual newborn in a teenager's body and viewers soon discover he has some extraordinary abilities. A little soppy at times, but highly enjoyable.
