Catch the Train

The Xplorer passenger train departs Armidale daily at 8.50 am travelling to Sydney via Tamworth, Werris Creek, Muswellbrook, Maitland, Broadmeadow (for Newcastle), Gosford and other intermediate stations.

For travel between Armidale and Tamworth

Reservations are usually not necessary for short journeys between Armidale, Uralla, Walcha Road, Kootingal and Tamworth.
Either buy a ticket at the station immediately before you travel
or board the train and pay your fare at the buffet.
