Dear Family,
Firstly, let me
introduce myself.
My name is Krishana Williams and I am 25 years of age.
I have a strong passion to work overseas but mainly in the UK and be able
to experience the four seasons.
I have travelled a little in my life but would love to see a lot more of
the world.
While I have
always enjoyed being around children, I decided to follow my dreams of being an
Artist and in 2002 completed of my Visual Arts Diploma.
Following this, I decided to apply for admission to the Charlton Brown
Nanny College and successfully completed their Certificate II Community Services
(Children’s Services) in November 2003.
Certificate II also allowed me to accomplish my Senior First Aid
(including CPR which I revised in February 2005), Lifesaving, Defensive Driving,
Self Defence Certificates.
During my Certificate time, I worked on regular basis with a local family
with two girls aged 6 months and 2 years.
Since graduating, I have worked on a permanent part-time basis with three
families as well as casual care positions.
I’d like to
tell you a little about myself and my other passions.
I am an accomplished Artist working in both paint and drawing mediums and
have recently held my second solo exhibition in my home of Brisbane, Australia.
With this being a major part of my life, I love to incorporate it in my
work with children bringing out their own creativity.
I take great pride in providing a stimulating and caring environment for
the children in my care and make time to plan activities, giving a holistic
approach to the individual child while taking into consideration the parents’
values.
I have an easy
going personality and calm demeanour which extends throughout my professional
and private life.
I am extremely excited to be embarking on my travels and experiencing
other cultures and ways of life.
