MY ART

Artist Statement
The inspiration and influence of all these works has been the nature of paint itself, and the infinite number of ways it can be used to make marks. Commencing a new painting for me is always very exciting . These works are created spontaneously and without any preconceived idea of the end result.
I like to show the history of a painting from the first energetic and bold decisions about line and colour, to the more thought out deliberate strokes, as the paintings form an image reveals itself
to me.
Abstraction provides the freedom to explore the unknown. Exploration and development of the visual language.
