Welcome

The Lions Club was formed in the year 1984/1985 with a membership of 25, as time has gone on we have only got 12 members but we are very busy with our projects such as BBQs, working at the Australia Day Breakfast which we hold at Harcourt every year.

We also have a BBQ at the Apple Fest.

These two projects we have been doing for the past 16 years. Other things we do are:

  • Move Furniture

  • Hay Carting

  • Hold Raffles

  • Cleaning of Properties

  • Wood-Working Bees

  • Mow grass in the area

  • Collect Cans for Re-cycling

  • Catering

Harcourt Lions Club have a Bowls Team that plays carpet bowls every week at Harcourt. We play other teams from the local area.

We are also very interested in mixing with other clubs in or out of our district.

Do you wish to belong to the world’s largest service organisation?

  • Do you wish to become involved in local community projects?

  • Do you wish to be a member of a team of dedicated people in raising funds for community services?

  • Do you wish to participate in social events and meet a wide range of interesting people?

If you answer YES to any of these questions, then why not join the LIONS CLUB OF HARCOURT AND DISTRICT, which has been serving the community since 1984, and now needs your help to carry on the good work!

We are part of the worldwide Lions International organisation, with over 1.4 million members in 184 countries.
