CEASAR & ROSIE  © Lina Eve 1985

Caesar Ramano worked in a shoe store
>From eight in the morning, ‘til late in the night.
Rosie Pastarti dressed cheap and tarty
Paraded her wares by the shoe store light.

It was a mean hard city, life wasn’t pretty
For two tired hearts all alone on the street
Then Caesar saw Rosie,
He gave her a posy of flowers,
And Rosie’s heart skipped a beat.

Now life has a meaning
When love is the message
Rosie no longer works on the street
She’s helping her Caesar,
they’re taking it easier
Sharing their magic with all that they meet

Yes, life has a meaning
When love is the message
Caesar and Rosie have made it so sweet.
