*B.Y.O.: Bring Your Own Liquor, to a party or restaurant. In Australia it is not rude to hold a party and request people BYO drinks.


*Dunny: Toilet, bathroom.


*Fridge: Abbreviation for refrigerator.


*Idiot Box: Television.


*Postie: Abbreviation for Postman/woman.


*Roo Bar: Something you put on the front of your car to lesson the damage if you hit a kangaroo. (also can be called a bull Bar).


*Strewth: An exclamation "Strewth mate did you see that?"
