Download and Installation Instructions for V2K.

(1) Ensure that your system can perform at 800x600 resolution
Check to see if you can use 800 x 600 pixels. To do this, click
on START in the bottom left hand corner of your screen, then SETTINGS,
CONTROL PANEL, DISPLAY, and SETTINGS again. Here you can see what your
resolution is currently and what you can change it to. If you have 800 x
600
then you can proceeed to download V2K.exe
Note: We no longer support the low-resolution product and have removed it
from the website.

(2) From the DOWNLOADS page on the website, click on the link to initiate a
download to your hard-drive of the compressed zipfile v2k33$d.zip
Downloading time depends on many factors including time of day, your ISP's
equipment, network traffic around the world. I do test downloads from time
to time and these normally take about 10 - 17 minutes with 33k modem.

(2) Create a NEW FOLDER on C drive called V2K This is done in EXPLORER
by highlighting (C:) on the left-hand pane, then click on FILE, NEW,
FOLDER.
Type over the Highlighted words "new folder" on the right hand pane with
the word V2K and then hit ENTER. This creates the new folder C:\V2k for
you.

(3) Unzip your downloaded zip-file into this new folder. 59 files are
created by unzipping the zip-file. Check by looking at the folder with
EXPLORER.

(4) Create a V2K icon for your desktop. This is done in EXPLORER as
follows:- Click on the V2K folder in the left pane. This will show you
all the files in the folder on the right pane. Right-click on V2K.exe,
 CREATE SHORTCUT and notice how a shortcut appears in the list. Now drag & drop the
short-cut onto your desktop. If your explorer window is maximised such
that you cannot see the desktop behind it , you will have to shrink it
first by clicking on the "double-box" icon at the top right hand corner
of your screen.

(5) Now close Explorer and click on the V2K icon and you are in business.

NOTE:- You are provided with a dummy set of customer and pet files to
experiment with.
