V2k is a Veterinary Practice Manager with a difference. It does what you would expect it to do and it does it well!

Customers. Instantly retrieve any customer from thousands in your database. No messy client codes to remember. Simply type the first few letters of the client's last name and then click on the appropriate name from a pick-list and all the data pertaining to that client is immediately available including a list of that customer's pets.
Pets. Click on the pet name to make that pet's data immediately accessable. If the client has a large number of pets you may have to scroll the alphabetical list to find the one you are interested in. Scrolling is effected by clicking on an up or down arrow as appropriate.
Pet Records. A wealth of information can be recorded for every pet. As well as vaccination and dental records, you can record all your diagnoses, operations and pathology results for every pet. You can even view a list of normal values provided by a commercial lab. You are free to modify this list to suit your local lab if desired. Another feature is the ability to incorporate a small color or monochrome photograph of the pet into its record. Clients love to see their pet's photo on your computer!
Searching for names. Cant think of a clients name, but you can remember other details...No Problem. Use the help feature to find the client by either CITY or EMAIL ADDRESS or FIRST NAME or PET'S MICROCHIP # or OCCUPATION or PETNAME or ZIPCODE.
Prices. From anywhere in the program you can look up cost price and selling price of all the products you sell, and the fee that you charge for any procedure. You can change any of these on-the-fly as you wish.
Invoices. You can view any invoice or cut a new one from anywhere in the program that you happen to be. You dont have to back-track to some menu of options somewhere. Invoices can be printed out on demand either at the time or at any time, and will reflect any partial payments made. You can look up and print out a list of all payments made by any client on all invoices. For the tax-man you and print out a list of tax collected for any date-range that you choose.
Appointments. You can view appointments from anywhere at all, making or changing them on-the-fly. No need to stop whatever else you were doing at the time. Unique apointment scheduler highlights today's appointments and also distinguishes office consultations from admissions to the hospital.
History Cards. Say goodbye to the history card shuffle with its coffee-stained, dog-eared 8"x5"'s, lost in the filing cabinet or in the "to-be-filed-pile" !
V2K provides for unlimited free-form case-history space, for an unlimited number of consultation records. Each record is automatically time and date-stamped.
Date Format. All dates are in the US format of mm/dd/yyyy. However this can be changed at any time to the dd/mm/yyyy format. See instructions in the manual.
Vaccinations. Look up lists of vaccinations due for any date-range that you choose. Print out vaccination reminder letters on a letterhead with your practice details. Also print out overdue vaccination reminder letters for the less attentive client! Vaccination certificates can be printed out on demand either at the time or at any time. Standard letters can be amended to suit your practice, your style and the event. A more stern letter can be sent to the recalcitrant clients as required.
Dentistries. Look up and print out as for vaccinations.
Stocktake. V2K simplifies the process of the annual stocktake and provides a printout at any time listing your inventory and its book value.
Printouts. In addition to the printouts listed above you can print out a complete client history and complete procedure histories for each pet. This is handy for when a client leaves town and wants a copy of their records to take to their new vet!

Because of different reporting and accounting practices around the world it is not feasible to cater to every user in every jurisdiction. We strongly recommend that you combine V2K with the use of a cash register to record income to your practice.
