The Practice Ceased operations in 2005
Most of our consulting is done at our diagnostic & surgical suite at Panorama Drive. During "normal" hours, 7 days a week, standard fees apply. Expect to pay a surcharge at night.
"Appointment Only" means that we do not double-book our clients. Every client is allocated sufficient time for the anticipated procedures and then some more! This is to ensure that you can be relaxed and do not feel rushed, and so that you can have the time to ask all the questions that you need answered.
Punctuality. When you make an
appointment with us we will do all that we can to see you on time.
We ask that you also make the effort to arrive on time or let us know
in advance if you need to alter your arrival time.
Emergencies. The only reason for unpunctuality on our part would be if some emergency case needed urgent attention. You will appreciate that emergencies will always be seen immediately.
What to bring. As well as your pet, you
will need to bring all documents pertaining to your pet such as
vaccination certificates (if done elsewhere) and other health
certificates.
If your pet is sick, then any evidence that you can bring will speed
things up. Fresh urine specimens, fresh stool specimens or anything
else that you think might be helpful should be brought along. Always
bring specimens in air-tight glass containers....not in plastic bags or
"glad-wrap".
Restraint. All pets should be well restrained to avoid escape dramas. Dogs should be brought on a lead that will not slip off their head. Cats should always be brought in a cat carry-cage for safety and security. Because cats will often make a mess during a car ride, we recommend that you use a carry-cat with a grate or grill on the bottom of the cage.
Home Consultations. These can be requested if desired either because it suits you best or if your pet does not travel well. We will make house-calls anywhere on the Sunshine Coast from Caloundra to Noosa and West to Montville. Click on the navigation button in the left frame for full details.
Acupuncture. I do acupuncture on cats, dogs and horses. If you are being referred by another vet, you should bring a note from the vet and any x-rays that may have been taken of your pet. Acupuncture takes a good half hour per treatment, so mention that you require acupuncture when making an appointment. Click on the navigation button in the left frame for full details.
