Hi,
our controlling body, the Veterinary Surgeons Board does not allow us to advertise our fees. This archaic rule means that you will have to call us and ask how much for this and how much for that.
All I can say is the we charge around about what other vets charge. We cannot all charge the same as that would be evidence of anti-competitive behaviour which is contrary to the Trades Practices Act.
Please feel free to ask us about how much you can expect to pay for a procedure before having it done. For some procedures we can only give a reasonable estimate, as many things can be unknown before investigation is done. Be assured that we do not deviate far from our estimates without contacting you first for your consent.
Fees are payable in full at the time of consultation or when collecting your pet. We do not extend credit but accept cash, credit card or cheques. Unfortunately we cannot accept promises. We have found that when we have extended credit, we have lost not only the money, but also the client as they invariably go somewhere new next time.
