Ccmrt and Emrt are both Holistic treatments that work on the Central Nervous System to bring the body back into a natural state of BALANCE.
Both CCmrt and Emrt works on the connective tissue called the FASCIA. Fascia is a continious membrane that covers every organ, blood vessel, nerve and bone throughout the whole body. In prime condition the fascia is loose, moist, mobile and elastic, facilitating movement between all parts of the body.
When stress or injury occurs the fascia hardens, grows less flexible and becomes more porous, thereby restricting the flow of fluids and reducing the elasticity. This is seen as restricted movement of the animal.
Both CCmrt and Emrt involves a sequence of very gentle moves that stimulate a fascial tissue at key points in the animals body. Tissues return to their more flexible state and the natural operation of the muscles, circulatory and neural pathways resume.
CCmrt and Emrt addresses every system in the animals body to bring about a state of balance (haemostasis) thereby allowing the reprogramming of areas in trauma to their natural state of being.
Veterinary permission is always requested prior to treatment. Each treatment starts with a thorough visual assessment and simple palpation test to assess te muscular skeletal and nervous state of te horse. Also a thorough case history is taken and recorded for future reference.
A treatment will normally take approximately one hour, during which a series of hands on moves are made accross difference parts of the animals body. Regular short breaks are taken between the sequence of moves to allow the animal to relax and the treatment to take effect. Ongoing observations are made and notes are taken throughout the treatment.
The initial treatment is idealy given in a block of three with a week between the first two treatments followed by ten days to three weeks between the second and third depending on an individual assessment by the practitioner.
Your animal should show signs of a definate improvement within three treatments, depending on how long or problematic the injury is, your animal may require further treatments.
However all are indivuals and some may need more or less. Your practitioner will advise.
CCmrt and Emrt have been used on a regular basis by professional trainers and breeders alike as a training aid to keep their animals supple and balanced.
