Burmese females are usually very good mothers and often will look after any kittens that need mothering and sometimes they share these duties with each other.

Many of our queens have had very large litters and on these occasions I help too by supplementing the newborns.

We find the feeding fresh raw diet to the girls provides them with the best nutrients and also weanlings do better on fresh food than they do on "fast junk food".

I urge every cat breeder world wide to read about the pet food recalls that took place in USA in 2007 and many earlier recalls as well. Just "Google" pet food recall, toxins in pet food, dried food, USA consumer affairs, aflatoxins in dried cat food, Salinomycin induced polyneuropathy, ionophores in feed etc etc etc.

Do not believe the sales pitches from the pet food industry and trust your own judgement about what is best for your cats.... they are all different little creatures with their own special needs.

Raise them in a happy environment free from as much stress as is possible and give each and every one of them the love and attention they need.

We all have a duty of care for these beautiful cats. This is an expensive hobby and the only rewards come from seeing healthy happy cats and kittens and finding them loving homes - filling a gap in many peoples lives.

Educate the public to be responsible pet owners!
