Day 9 - Singapore Zoo - 24th April 1998

The world famous Singapore Zoological Gardens and Night Safari not only offer the animals a natural home, but also the visitors a day long and refreshing leisure time.  It is an open concept zoo, natural barriers like water and sheer rock walls are use, not ugly iron bars.

The Zoo holds daily live Animal shows at 1030am, 11.30am, 2.30pm  and 3.30pm.  The Polar Bear feeding and the Primate and Reptile shows are favourites with the children.  You can even have breakfast with the Orang Utans when you visit early in the mornings.

We travelled to Yishun by MRT and then bussed it to the Zoo from the station.  We spent the whole day walking around and seeing the animals.
